I am occasionally available for public lectures on questions of race, religion, politics, healthcare disparities and transracial adoption. My research centers on white attitudes and structural power and privilege at the expense of communities of color. If you are interested in having me at your institution please submit an inquiry.

Loved reading your article “The Truth About Race, Religion, And The Honor Code At BYU”. Kudos!
Have you heard about or read the expose’ that outs extremist and/or covert racism in pro tennis, that’s been dubbed “the most prolific and damning expose’ ever written about pro tennis”? If you haven’t, it’s located at http://www.protennisexpose.net.
Please allow me to introduce that I am Morris King, Jr., a world class professional tennis coach and former advisory coach of the Williams Sisters through their father during their early pro careers (see the news articles on my official website, http://www.magian10S.com. The 1st article stands in history as the ONLY interview that Richard Williams has EVER given to the press about a coach – me – taking over the coaching of his famous, history making daughters).
As a matter of record, I have the distinction of having assisted Richard Williams with Venus’ rise to the WTA’s Top 10 within the first year of my contract and to her first finals of the US Open only 3 months after having signed with Richard Williams back in 1997. When Richard sought me out at the WTA’s Amelia Island, Florida tournament mentioned in the news article, Venus was losing in the first round of every pro tournament for 2 years (using what many other famous (white) coaches, like Bollettieri, Macci, Seguso/Bassett, et al., had taught her) and it was my responsibility to turn that around. Then came Serena’s unparalleled and record 7 month rise from the 500s to a WTA Tour ranking of #30. The rest is history, as you and the world have witnessed.
Additionally, I am the coach that made Bosnian refugee Amer Delic into the stellar junior player that played in the Orange Bowl International Jr. Championship’s 16s draw when he was only 14; a draw that had now-former ATP pro star Marat Safin as the #2 seed and a draw that longtime ATP Tour #1 ranked Roger Federer wasn’t good enough to make. This is the same Amer Delic that went on to become an NCAA national single’s champion and is now an ATP touring pro.
Yet, you have never heard of me, have you?
If I had been white with these very same successes, do you think that your answer would be the same? In fact, can you name one — JUST 1 — black pro tennis coach? (Not a college coach or a parent pretending to be a coach or ME now that you know who I am.)
The aforementioned expose’ will give you an indication of why you can’t. I am lobbying for exposure of this relevant issue and specificially for what has been happening to me in pro tennis. If anyone thinks that football and basketball still have problems with the hiring of black coaches, then they should check out pro tennis because football and basketball can’t compete with tennis in this one instance. PLEASE take the time to read the aforementioned expose’ (approx. 3 – 5 minutes).
And when reading the expose’, remember the words of former CBS sports commentator Jimmy “The Greek” Snyder: “If blacks take over coaching like everybody wants them to, there is not going to be anything left for the white people.”
